St. Mary's Anglican Church, PONOKA

           

Rev. Brian Melbourne (left) was appointed Rector in January 2007. He came to Canada from England in 1973 with his wife and family. He was ordained in Toronto in 1982, and served in Newfoundland, Ontario, Bermuda and the Church of England before returning to Canada in 2006. Preaching, teaching and music are his obvious strengths, and worship is always a priority. He has an easy-going style and is very approachable.

Rev. Dr. Doreen Scott is our Vocational Deacon and provides a generous pastoral ministry on a voluntary basis. Doreen has been associated with St. Mary's for many years, and works in the community as a heath care professional.
